Spa Guidelines and Policy
At Total Serenity Day Spa, we believe
that an educated guest is our best
Consumer. We have put together the most
important points you should know when
you are visiting a spa for the first
time.
Give us a call
To schedule your services please call
our Philadelphia location at (215)
557-0678. Please provide two telephone
numbers in order for us to confirm your
appointments. Gift Cards are required to
schedule services. Credit card numbers
may be required for reservations. If a
first time customer or scheduling on a
Friday or Saturday there will be a
non-refundable 50% deposit that will be
taken when booking the appointment.
Plan
ahead
If you are unable to make your
appointment and need to cancel please
call within 24 hours (one service) or 48
hours (multiple services). If you don't
call within that time you will be
charged a $25 cancellation fee for each
service scheduled. Not showing to
appointments will result to a deduction
taken from the gift card value or
prepayment.
Be
on time
Your punctuality is greatly appreciated.
Please allow 15 minutes before your
schedule appointment to check in for
your services. If you arrive late your
treatment time will be adjusted
accordingly to avoid delays with next
scheduled spa guest. Running late can
be also considered a cancellation if you
have missed the appointment and if there
is no way we can accommodate you. We
understand that sometimes being late is
unavoidable; however depending upon
circumstances we may need to shorten
your service or charge the cancellation
fee.
Check
in
Upon entering the spa; please check in
at the reception desk to fill out
Personal Profile Information. The form
must be completed in order to receive
any services at the Spa. You will be
notified daily personal schedule,
locker, robe, and slippers. Our staff
will give you a brief orientation on
where everything is and how to enjoy the
spa.
Your
belongings
Valuables should not be brought into the
spa, as we are not responsible for lost
or stolen items. Cellular phones are
prohibited inside the spa including and
common areas, they should be left in the
locker and on silent or vibrate.
It’s
your choice
Undergarments are your choice. Upon your
request, we can provide disposable
panties for body treatments and waxing
services. Your therapist will cover you
at all time and uncover the areas to be
worked on during treatment.
Tea
time
If at any time you need a soothing
herbal tea, please ask any of our staff
members for assistance. We have
complimentary water, juice and fruits in
our waiting area for you to enjoy your
visit.
Check
out
When you are ready to leave the spa,
please leave robe and slippers in hamper
and the key goes back into the locker.
When you are finished getting changed
proceed to the front desk to settle your
account. To continue your spa experience
at home, we have excellent products
available for you to purchase.
Next
appointment
To ensure you get pampered next time and
ensure desired date, time, and spa
therapist, please schedule your next
appointment prior to leaving.
Gift
cards
Do not expire (effective Feb.2007).
After one year, a $10 per month fee will
be deducted from the value of the Gift
Card. Gift Cards are non-refundable and
non-transferable. They can not be
redeemed for gratuity or to purchase
another gift card. They can be replaced
if lost or damaged for a fee. Prices are
subject to change with out notice. The
purchaser and recipient are the only
authorized users of the gift card. When
using gift card ID is required at the
time of check in. Total Serenity Day Spa
is not responsible for unauthorized use
of a Gift Card.
Offers
All services included in any package
must be used in same spa visit. Services
included in packages are no
transferable.
Methods
of payment
We honor VISA, MasterCard and
cash only.
Personal checks are not accepted.
Tips
Gratuities are not included in the
prices. Fifteen to twenty percent is
customary. Gratuity envelopes are
available at the front desk preferably
at the time of check out. We do not
accept any tips on credit cards. Tips
are taken only in cash.
Children/pets
Children and pets are not allowed in the
spa.
Refunds
We do not give cash or credit refunds.
Only store credits will be given. Such
credits are allowed within 7 days after
date of purchase . Any concerns or
suggestions regarding spa services must
be notified upon check out.
Price
tag
Prices are subject to change without
notice. In certain instances, our
services may change before the website
is updated.
Admission
We reserve the right of admission.
